WHAT IS CHROMALUXE?

DO CHROMALUXE METAL PRINTS NEED TO BE FRAMED UNDER GLASS?

No. ChromaLuxe’s unique coating allows prints to be showcased without the need for glass. ChromaLuxe metal prints are scratch resistant, waterproof, can be touched, and are easy to clean.

 

HOW SHOULD CHROMALUXE PRINTS BE CLEANED?

Unlike other photo print media, ChromaLuxe metal prints are easy to clean. The metal prints can be cleaned with a cloth and any all-purpose household cleaner. The cleaner can be sprayed directly on the surface of the print and then wiped with a cloth as needed.

 

HOW DO I HANG MY KRYS GLYPH METAL ART PRINT? 

You can hang it anywhere on a wall using a variety of standard art hanging products such as 3M's 'Command' mounting pads, etc... Your Krys Glyphs product is light-weight and most standard art hanging products work well.  Another great feature is you do NOT need glass! 

We recommend taking your Krys Glyphs to an Art Framing company near you.  They can show you some options for mounting them!

CAN I RECYCLE THE PACKAGING MATERIAL?

The answer, for most of our products, is yes!  All packing material is 'recyclable'.  We are proud to support helping the world be cleaner. 

For the TM1-LE-12 Collection, we do recommend that you keep the internal album cover.  This has the Krys Glyphs stamp on the front.  If you are a Krys Glyphs collector, the album cover is a great way of storing your products!

 

I NOTICED THE COST OF SOME KRYS GLYPHS ARE DIFFERENT - WHY IS THAT?

More and more people are buying art for their homes and viewing pleasure.  As with all investments, increased demand equals increased value.  The art world follows this.  

Signed art works are always more valuable than unsigned, as the piece is far more likely to be authentic.  Every Krys Glyphs product you purchase is digitally signed and dated, on the back of the product.

 

WILL MY KRYS GLYPHS PRODUCT FADE OVER TIME?

Because we embed the high-res image into the ChromaLuxe aluminum panel, your Krys Glyphs product will stay vibrant for many years.  

With unprecedented resistance to surface abrasion, high humidity, atmospheric ozone, and contact with water, ChromaLuxe prints – often referred to simply as “Metal Prints” can be safely displayed without the need for framing under glass or other surfaces.  ChromaLuxe cites studies stating that no fading, when mounted inside, will be visible for over 50 years!
